A statement by the Library’s Director, Dr Toby Simpson:
Like so many others around the world, myself and staff at The Wiener Holocaust Library have been outraged by the killing of George Floyd, which has led to ongoing protests taking place across the United States and in solidarity here in the United Kingdom.
We stand against racism in all its forms. The Library is a testament to what can happen when hatred and police brutality goes unchecked and we stand in solidarity with black people.
