On Wednesday 17 November the Library hosted the second Annual Alfred Wiener Holocaust Memorial Lecture at the Museum of London. We were delighted that over 500 people attended or tuned in to watch this lecture.
Lost grave of Jewish Commando hero finally remembered after 45 years
Archivist Martin Sugarman has helped to uncover the story of Austrian-Jew Kurt Goldschlager, who fought with the British Army in Europe, and was originally buried as a Catholic in an unmarked grave. Now, his headstone has been reconsecrated.
