My Father’s Legacy: Remembering Alex Danzig
September 30, 2024 @ 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm
In partnership with The Association of Jewish Refugees and the Holocaust Educational Trust.
As we approach the first anniversary of the horrific terrorist attacks of 7 October in Israel, we’re hosting an in-conversation event with Yuval Danzig. Yuval will speak about the legacy of his father, Alex, a Holocaust educator working with Yad Vashem for over 30 years.
Alex was kidnapped by Hamas terrorists on 7 October from his home on Kibbutz Nir Oz, and was murdered in captivity in Gaza. Yuval will be in conversation with AJR chief executive, Michael Newman and Toby Simpson, director of The Wiener Holocaust Library.
