This virtual HMD talk, aimed at GCSE and A-Level students, will utilise sources from the Library’s unique archive to examine the topic of ‘liberation’. It will contextualise the final events of the Holocaust, explore the concept of ‘liberation’, consider life after ‘liberation’ in DP camps and frame why it is so important that we remember the Holocaust today.

This virtual workshop will explore the history of the Library, the collections we hold, the resources we have on offer and how these can be utilised so that students can understand and analyse contemporary material.
