Text Description

Following his retirement, Professor Antony Polonsky kindly donated his working library to the Library in 2012. One of the leading experts on Polish-Jewish history, Professor Polonsky was a Founder of Polin: a Journal of Polish-Jewish Studies and Editor of the Littman Library of Holocaust Testimonies.

The collection includes many local studies of Polish-Jewish history in the 19th and 20th Centuries, books and pamphlets on controversies such as Jedwabne, and books on Holocaust education, as well as concentration camp guides and a set of tourist postcards from Auschwitz from the 1980s.
