Reverend David Stewart was sent to Bergen-Belsen as British Military Chaplain with the 35th Casualty Clearing Station on 15 May 1945. In this pamphlet, he describes what he saw during his several weeks in Bergen-Belsen shortly after its liberation.
This pamphlet includes many conversations that Stewart had with the men, women and children about their lives before they were deported, the consequences of starvation and disease, and their experiences in the camp system.
