A Nazi-era children’s book published in 1935 on the ABC’s of Nazi race theory. Includes the basics of genetics, as well as much on racially superior traits and the negative role of Jews in German society. One picto-graph shows the German people as the most crowded society in Europe, needing obvious “lebensraum,” with other regions full of clearly uneeded open space.
For more information on how the Nazi party used books, games and toys to indoctrinate children see our online exhibition, A is for Adolf: Teaching German Children Nazi Values.
