Short Description
A map drawn by post-war investigators trying to find the body of a prisoner killed near Marburg.
Text Description

In the immediate aftermath of the Second World War staff at the International Tracing Service (ITS) searched for both the living and the dead. They carried out significant investigations to uncover where people who were killed on forced marches were buried. They interviewed witnesses, followed the routes the victims were forced to march, and exhumed the bodies of those killed. This is one of the maps drawn by the investigators trying to find the body of a prisoner who was killed near Marburg.
