An issue of The Fascist: The Organ of Racial Fascism from September 1939, the outbreak of war. Published by the Imperial Fascist League and edited by virulent antisemite Arnold Leese, this newspaper was modelled largely on Julius Streicher's Der Sturmer. Leese was interned under the Defence Regulation 18B for the course of the war and remained a major figure in the British far right until his death in 1956.
