Volunteer

The Wiener Holocaust Library has a strong tradition of working with volunteers.  Our volunteers are from all walks of life and they are vital to what we achieve as an organisation.

Volunteering Roles

We offer roles to suit all abilities and backgrounds, from collections and archival work to public-facing guides. We welcome volunteers who are looking to learn new skills in heritage, those who are looking to bring their existing knowledge to the Library team and all who have an interest in understanding the history of the Holocaust.

As we appreciate that everybody who commits to volunteer has a different schedule, our volunteering work is designed to fit around how much time you are able to commit.

  • Regular Weekly Volunteering

A number of our roles require volunteers to come in to the Library on a regular basis to work on specific projects.

This type of commitment will suit people who are able to donate 1-2 days per working week where you will be working on a set collection or topic.

  • Casual Volunteering
